Where we are active
Anestora is currently available in the Costa Blanca region. This includes towns and cities such as Alicante, Benidorm, Javea, Denia, Altea, and surrounding areas. Over time we aim to expand to more regions, but for now our focus is on helping people in the Costa Blanca find trusted home care. Please do not hesitate to sign up if you're in a different region in Spain so that we know where to focus on next.
Why we are building Anestora - a home care platform
Anestora started with a simple question: what if Michelle's parents need support at home in Spain - which is where they'd like to go after retirement. We found local initiatives, but for people who don’t speak Spanish it can be difficult to find reliable help. With our backgrounds in IT development and marketing we decided to build a platform that makes this easier and more accessible.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
How does Anestora differ from care agencies?
Anestora is not a care agency. We do not employ caregivers, manage schedules, or provide care ourselves. We connect people looking for care with independent care providers. Any agreements and care arrangements are between you and the caregiver directly.
How do I find a caregiver in Spain through Anestora?
You can fill out a form describing the type of care you are looking for, your location in Spain, and what matters to you. Based on that information, we look for caregivers whose profile matches your situation and contact you if a suitable match is available.
How does matching work if the platform is still being built?
For now, matching is done manually. People looking for care and care providers both fill out a Typeform. We review those forms and connect people when there is a clear match in care needs, availability, language, and expectations.
What kind of care can I find via Anestora?
Anestora focuses on non-institutional care such as elderly care, companionship, household help, and personal support. The availability and type of care depend on the caregivers currently active in your area.
Can I find caregivers who speak my language?
Yes. Anestora aims to help people in Spain find care in a language they are comfortable with, such as English, German, Dutch, and others, depending on availability in your region.
Are caregivers vetted or verified?
At the moment, there is no formal verification or vetting process. We do review the information caregivers provide and ask detailed questions about their background. In the future, we hope to introduce additional checks.
Who is responsible if something goes wrong?
Anestora is not responsible or liable for the care provided. We only facilitate introductions. Any agreements, responsibilities, or issues related to care are between the person receiving care and the caregiver directly.
Is Anestora free to use?
Anestora is currently free to use. In the future, we may introduce a fee for using the platform. We have not yet decided on the most fair model. Any changes will be communicated clearly.
