About us; why we connect people looking for care with carers

Our Story

Anestora started with a simple question: Michelle's parents need support at home in Spain? We quickly realized that while local initiatives exist, it can be difficult for people who don’t speak Spanish to find the right help. With our combined backgrounds in IT development and marketing, we decided to create a platform that makes it easier for people to find trusted home care in their own language and just as easy for caregivers to connect with those clients.

We are driven by values

Anestora is built on the belief that good care should be accessible, fair, and human. I don’t need to get rich from this project - I want to build something sustainable, where caregivers earn a fair price for their work, and clients can find support they truly feel comfortable with.

Language plays a big role in that: being able to communicate in your preferred language makes care more personal, and makes living or retiring abroad less stressful. For caregivers, Anestora can also be a way to build a life in Spain, whether temporarily or long-term, while doing the work they love.

About Michelle & Julio

Our goal is to build a marketplace where care providers and people looking for care can create a profile and find each other based on real fit, such as language, availability, and expectations. The platform is still being built, so for now we handle matching manually.

For us, Anestora is something we build on the side. We see a real need and we're investing some of our time in building this platform. Our "real" jobs are marketing for cybersecurity organizations (Michelle) and developer (Julio). This strongly influences how we think about trust, verification, and doing things carefully from the start.
